What If You Do Not Know Her Size?

Abaya sizing is led by length, so her height is the most useful thing to know. The Size Guide turns height into a size from XS to XXL, and if she is between two sizes we suggest the larger one, because the extra length is the better choice.

Made to measure is free and gives the best fit, but it needs her actual measurements, so it suits gifts where you can ask her, or ask someone close to her, without spoiling the surprise. Our abaya sizing guide explains both routes in detail.

How Do You Make an Abaya Gift Personal?

Add her name or initials. On every product page you can personalise the abaya with one word of up to 12 letters, stitched by hand in the atelier. You choose:

1. The word. Her name, a nickname, or her initials. Arabic names are welcome.
2. The style. Mirage, with visible stitches that follow each letter; Classic, a flowing script; or Modern, clean capitals.
3. The thread. Any colour, so you can choose her favourite.
4. The place. At the back neckline, the top of the neck, between the shoulders or on the sleeve.

A name at the back neckline is a lovely gift detail because it is private: she knows it is there, and others only notice it up close. A small personalisation fee is shown on the product page and added to the bag with the abaya.

Which Occasions Suit a Personalised Abaya?

Almost any occasion where the gift should feel considered:

• Eid and Ramadan. A new abaya is a natural gift, and a name makes it hers.
• Birthdays. Her initials in a colour she loves.
• Graduation. A piece she can wear to the ceremony and long after.
• Weddings. For a bride, or matching pieces for her closest friends and family, each with their own name.

How Does an Abaya Gift Arrive?

Every piece arrives wrapped in cream, gold and burgundy, with ribbon and a foil-pressed card, prepared with care before it leaves the atelier. You do not need to add separate gift wrapping. Can You Add a Handwritten Gift Note?

Yes. Add your abaya to the bag, then turn on This Is a Gift above the total. Write a message of up to 300 characters and add your name in From, or choose Stay Anonymous to leave your name off the note. We write your note by hand, complimentary. No invoice or prices go inside the parcel.

Choose Me if you would like to give the gift in person, or Someone Else if it should go directly to her. At checkout, enter the intended recipient's name and delivery address. Use Add to Cart and check out through the bag, because Buy It Now skips the gift panel.

Every abaya is made to order in Dubai after you order, so leave time before the date you need it. If the gift is for a particular day, such as Eid or a wedding, contact the atelier before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it can arrive in time.
